Kainos (pronounced Kahee-nos) is a Greek word meaning new, recently made, fresh, of a new kind, unprecedented, novel, uncommon, and unheard of. It is used 44 times in 38 scriptures in the New Testament.
Our Vision
The church is the object of God’s affection and His redemptive agent in the world. Kainos Church India, desires to see believers grow in total commitment to Jesus Christ, being transformed from within and embracing every opportunity to be a kingdom influence in this world. It is our prayer and endeavour to see every home reflect heaven's culture.

Service Schedule
Sunday Service
Sunday 10:00am - 12:30pm
Our worship services are honest and from a growing dependancy on the Lord and what He desires to hear. We prayerfully select a mix of contemporary worship songs and hymns that magnify the Lord Jesus Christ. Worship is primarily in English, and certain songs in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hebrew. Our worship services are a balance between spontaneity and structure, as we desire above all to be led by the Spirit of God.
We end the service every week with Communion.
Kainos Kids
Sunday 11:30am - 12:30pm
Kainos Kids is simultaneously held during the Sunday message. We believe the children are little big people and we teach them the Word during this hour. Children and youth form an important part of the call to be worshippers in spirit and in truth.
Sunday Monthly Lunch Fellowship
Sunday After Service
We host a monthly fellowship lunch every first Sunday of the month. This is an opportunity for members and visitors to get to know each other and do life together. Birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions are celebrated as we remember the goodness of God in each other's lives.
Monthly Prayer

Jesus said in Mark 11:17,
Then He taught, saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’?"
The apostle Paul emphasized the first place prayer should receive in our lives. "Therefore, I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men." (1 Timothy 2:1–4).
Kainos Church believes that prayer is life, not just part of a Christian's life. Prayer drives the mission of making disciples of all nations. Come and join us as we seek the Lord the first Saturday of each month in prayer and worship.
Growth Groups
Monthly Twice (2nd & 4th Week)
Mid week fellowship is facilitated through groups that meet in various homes across the city. We call them Growth Groups, to serve their two-fold purpose of personal growth in Christlikeness, and reaching out to those in our community that desire fellowship or are seeking to know the truth about Christ. We take time to fellowship, study God's Word and consider life applications of the truths. Growth Groups meet every second and fourth week of the month. This is a great way for everyone to plug in through the week.
Advisory: When you participate in a Kainos Church service or event, you do so of your own free-will. The teachings of the Bible are lovingly available to all people equally. This advisory is in view of anti-conversion laws in parts of India.

Our Story
A Diverse Community in Bengaluru
Kainos Church India, led by Ps. Manoj and Lincy Iype is a gathering open to all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. Manoj and Lincy offer spiritual oversight and also serve as teaching pastors having been ordained as pastors in 2012. They come with vast corporate leadership experience over the past two decades working across cultures, locally and overseas. They have been uniquely positioned as market place leaders to impact lives and communities with the love of Christ and a desire to see a generation that will fulfill their God given purpose and destiny, realizing their true potential in Christ.
Kainos Church, had it's beginning in our Pastors home at HSR Layout with the focus being family and children in the years 2017–18. Fellowship started with just the four of their family and slowly grew over time. From the onset, the focus has been on the Word of God, prayer, and mutual love and concern for all people. We truly believe it's only the love of Christ that can transform lives and enable us to disciple all nations. In 2020, we moved to a commercial complex located on Sarjapur Road where we are now based. We are a small church in numbers, but big in our vision for God's heart. All matters concerning the church are prayerfully discussed and agreed upon by a core team led by our Pastors. We are deeply grateful for the spiritual fathers and mentors who pray, encourage, and work alongside us on this journey of Christlikeness. We are not formally affiliated to a specific church body or organization.
