Abraham’s 25 year wait for Isaac shows that God’s timing is perfect. Waiting is not passive, it builds faith, exposes motives, and positions us for His promise. Impatience births Ishmaels; trust births Isaacs. Those who wait on the Lord exchange weakness for His strength, soaring like eagles, running without weariness, and walking without fainting. Waiting is worship, trust, and surrender never wasted, always fruitful.

The Valley of Elah shows that giants fall when faith outweighs fear. David, armed only with a sling and trust in God, defeated Goliath, proving victory comes from God’s power, not human strength. Giants often begin as small compromises—sin tolerated grows into strongholds. Like David, we must train in secret, surrender to God, and fight with His armor. In Christ, we fight from victory, not for it giants still fall.

Jesus’ parable of the wedding banquet (Matt 22:1–14) reveals God’s invitation to His kingdom. Many reject it through indifference or hostility, but grace extends to all, good and bad alike. Yet only those clothed in Christ’s righteousness are truly chosen. Accepting the call isn’t enough; transformation and obedience mark the chosen. Many are called, few are chosen, be ready for the marriage supper of the Lamb.
